yeah i know what you mean i live in a poor boring city :( i do try to get out and get some photo's but it's rare and dangerous hear try and carrying a $500. camera around my city is just asking for trouble :(

These photos remind me of a PBS program last year on the whales migration, and how they work together to create their bubble net. Fascinating. Would like to see it in real life. Thanks alaskan.

Excellent photos! What is the best time of the year to visit to photograph the whales? I have been trying to get to Maine for a couple of years to visit the feeding grounds there, but the Humpback is interesting.

Location, location, location....HI Alaska, I have an idea,how about a couple dozen of us hedghoggers meet at your house for a week or two so we can have location,location,location :lol: I have to say ...your photos are amazing!

You can count me in for the trip to Alaska's house!!! Oh, and Alaska, make sure you stock up on steaks and lobster because thats what I really like to eat.And I will even do the dishes and make my own bed every morning.
