Ohhh Thanks Angler Glad you looked at them. I have 4 corn snakes and that is enough for me. It was great to be up and close to get pictures of them. :D :D

Thanks phlash46 No, I was using a 50 - 200. And I was allowed to use flash which was a great help.

I've seen a few rattlers up close. I lived in New Mexico for a couple years. flooding holes in the ground will bring them to the surface. cool shots, but I stay plenty far away from them. and I've seen a few of the soft shell turtle, fyi their necks are long enough to reach all the way to their tales and they are almost as mean as a snapper, but a lot faster on land and in the water. lol
