Birds do it, bees do it
Even swans in water do it.
Good photos. In #4, I just can't figure out if he likes it rough or he's helping get her head out of the water so she doesn't drown.
Last one is by far the best.

ducks and geese hold the female's head down under the water when they mate. He does sort of look like he's pulling her head out of the water though. Maybe swans do it backwards?

Not Safe For Work
In other words don't look at the webpage on your office computer, wait until you are in the privacy of your home.

Great images!!
Reminds me of question ask by my 5yr old daughter .
Mama, why does the rooster bite the hens on the back of the neck? "Mama that how the hens eggs make chicks when the hen sit on them".
The next day the rooster was doing his thing, daughter goes running up behind and gives the rooster a swift kick under the tail and says "You stop that you silly Rooster, we'll have chicks all over the place"!!!

Great capture!
Excellent set, doing what comes naturally. Great stuff.
Great shots and nice catch, Dave! Right place, right time! Good work!
Is there a problem? The swan on the bottom is lost and the swan on top is pushing her home. It's sweet.
