I am shooting a Canon 7D and have about 10 different lenes to go with it. I have a 580EXIi flash along with two 430's that I use for various situations. I also have a small studio set up in my basement for requests from family and friends

try keh.com or ucb.com they buy equipment or maybe you can make a trade for a lens you can use. manual focus lenses unless they are high end like leica don't go for very much. if its a fast prime lens you will get more than if its a slow zoom. condition also plays a factor. how much are you wanting for it and why do you not use it?

Adorama will buy it (I just sold them a couple of lenses), but you'll get more for it selling it privately.

I would suggest selling on Ebay yourself. You will get better money for it. I would research the type of lens and what otehrs are selling it for. IF you list it as an auction make sure you set a reserve price so you do not lose money. You can also say that you are accepting no returns. I have sold equipment this way and have got my asking price and good feedback.

The absolutley best place to seel photo gear is on FredMiranda .com. It is a huge site with many sub groups , and discussion forums . You have to register ( free) , and if you wish to sell anything you have to pay a small anual fee ( $30) . There are no other fees unlike Ebay"s exhorbitant charges . It is world wide , and I have bought and sold many items there . Sometimes in ten minutes

I get the best price for my gear on photographic forums. I sold my Nikon D90 body to a forum member with an 18-55mm kit lens aboard, spare battery and a Really Right Stuff custom L-Plate aboard. He was initially only interested in the L-Plate, but with all the goodies I threw in he couldn't turn down my $750 asking price for everything.

Be prepared if you sell a camera body to provide interested parties the frame count of the camera. That is the number of frames fired from the camera. Each camera has its own life expectancy which is a rating in frames shot.

Transactions are best done through Paypal, an online middleman that guarantees payment and delivery for a small fee. I saked the buyer to deposit the funds plus shipping in my Paypal account and once I see the funds there I ship the camera. Everybody gets what they want without a hassle. I never heard from my buyer again.

I have a friend looking for that particular flash. What are you asking for it?
