Windows XP at it's end

If you do upgrade windows go right for 8.1 not 8.0. Or even better windows 7.

I agree. I have been useing xp pro since it came out. Never had a problem and still don't see the need to up grade. It runs all my media and photo needs. I don't worry about hackers and lost files. It is like nintendo changing their fromat just to sell more stuff.

Software manufacturers withdraw support for older versions all the time and the earth is still turning on it's axis, get over it! Your 13 year old OS (XP) already does not support a lot of recent software and hardware!

If you have no need for the Internet then you have no need for an up-grade. Windows XP will run better without all the security up-dates that had to be installed over the years. The more up-dates the slower Windows ran.

You are so right bangee5. If you look at all the hidden files your cpu has you will see what the problem is.But not even the so called I T people don't know about this. I don't know why.
