after reading about people asking what to bring on a trip to Alaska I was surprised how many members have come to Alaska.
I have lived in Alaska for many years, but I haven't done the tours that many visitors do. I was wondering if I am missing something. so show me where your tours have taken you on your trips. if you can please tell where the photo was taken incase I recognize it, or someone wants to go there on there next trip to Alaska.

I've done two cruises to Alaska and done the excursions offered by the cruise company, but I would love to have the opportunity to go back on a ground tour where I could explore the landscape at my leisure and with better camera equipment than I had back when these pictures were taken using a bridge camera.
Haines Harbor
The Inside Passage
Hubbard Glacier
Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau
Sawyer Glacier
Juneau Harbor from Mount Rogers
Ketchikan Harbor
Sitka Harbor
Hope I can share my photos after early summer. Plan on going on a cruise to Alaska for my anniversary. I can't wait to take my Nikon!!
I can hardly wait to go. Your photos are incredible!! I am going to some of the same ports of call. Yes, I am excited about taking my husband and camera, too! Ooops!
I did a week in country and a week cruise. I would love to go back and spend more time in country, especially in Katmai.
Denali
Mendenhal Glacier
Katmai

Very Nice images! we did do an Alaskan cruise with Holland, we started in Vancouver and ended in Seward where we had or daughter pick us up. it was nice but I cant say we were all that impressed. but for us the scenery is something we see everyday, I think living here we take a lot for granted.
the captain pointed out a speck on the shore and told us it was a bear. everyone was happy to see a bear. I had my 400mm and could hardly see it. this is when I get more excited about seeing a bear

Now, those are the sights I would love to go back to see--Denali and Katmai--and with my DSLR. Very nice images, Alison!

Wonderful, stableduck--keep 'em coming!
Alaska was so beautiful--I would love to go back. In 2010 we went on a cruise tour with 8 other couples on Holland America- 7 days on the ship and 5 days on land
On a whale watching expedition in Juneau
on that same expedition
we took a float plane over the glaciers at Juneau
I think this was the Glacier Bay area
Another from Glacier Bay
one of my favorites from the trip-taken from an upper deck of the ship as we were leaving the College Fjords
From the bus in Denali park
leavbing the park and heading back to town through the bus window in the evening

nice shots! I had a boat before I got into photography, I spent a lot of time on Prince William Sound. I wish I had taken pictures back then.
Beautiful Alaska landscapes, thanks for sharing!
