These birds are amazing. It's so exciting to make a discovery like this when you get the image on a bigger screen. I think the download looks quite sharp. Nice catch for both of you.:-)

Great shot Greg!

Thanks very much Lamar, always appreciate your looking and kind comment, it was fun to watch him drop about 75-100' down, hit the water, and come up with the big fish

Thanks very Vicki, always appreciate your looking and kind comment. When I saw the Osprey hovering I knew he was ready to dive. To the naked eye, he was a speck, and I got lucky. So glad you enjoyed

I know you were pleasantly surprised to see this once you had it on the computer. I've discovered some nice surprises as well, things you just don't see until editing time. Anyway, thought I'd enhance it just a bit, for fun. Great shot.

I was about 300-400' from the Osprey when I saw him dive down and hit the water, had no idea he caught something until I downloaded the shot and cropped it a bit. If you download the shot you will get a really good idea of the size, it isn't very sharp but I wanted to share this. His family will eat well tonight

Nice capture of a bird with a big fish, Gregory.

Thanks so much for looking and for your kind comment, GrfxLady, really appreciate it. It is fun when you find something, since this was just a speck to the naked eye, I took a shot anyway, and was surprised. So glad you enjoyed
