I was wandering why this House Finch was always by himself at our bird feeder. Now I know the bird seems to have no eye on one side of it's head and possibly bad vision on the other side. Poor bird. Mother-Nature can be cruel sometimes.

Distance is 25 feet. - 1/400 sec. - f/8 - ISO @ 800
Both photos have the same settings.

This is today's photo.

Thank you very much, rolf. Without the Tamron 150-600mm lens at 600mm I would not have seen the poor bird's condition.

Thank you very much, GrfxLady. If it wasn't for this lens, I might not have noticed the bird's eye(s) condition.

Thank you very much, Angler. The poor bird is right now feeding at our birdfeeder. At least he won't go hungry.
