I'm sorry to all of you who are experiencing some of the worst winter weather ever but in our area my plum tree is beginning to bloom and the bee's and butterfly's were out working yesterday.

The translucence in the wings is beguiling.
As for the weather, I'm jealous.

Thank You 8-) I would be glad to give you some of our weather if I could, we need the snow here. We are going to face one of the worst fire seasons in a long time.
Biker Chic, that is a fantastic butterfly photo.

Thank You  It's hard because by the time I get focused on it then it flys away... I can just see myself running around chasing it with my camera pressed up on my face...
wow....very nice shot! :) I can't wait for Spring time :D
What a beauty...Great Job. Many of us are still waiting on warmer weather, but its wait well worth it.
We're seeing some first signs here as well. This is just lovely.

Thanks...You are right about it being worth the wait, I know we well suffer in the end due to not enough rain or snow. We are all praying for winter to come visit.

Bring it  You have a bit of a ride ahead though I'm in the So. Cal area and we are about to get rain... Yeah! Not enough to end our drought but any little bit will help.
