Thoughts please, good & bad!
Edinburgh Castle
Royal yacht Britannia
Belfast shipworkers
I love these, especially the first two. They really capture a sense of place.
I like them as I am a fan of B&W.
Number one needs more contrast for me.
Number three- don't cut off feet even in statues. I love the cranes/machines in the background, good composition there!!
Number two- very nice mood of the ship at night.
Very nice. The first one is very dramatic. Like the yacht as well. Nice work.
Agree with Cabooses, a little fill light on the statues would be nice
I would open the shadows to taste. Contrast is fine for me with No. 1.
The second shot is too contrasty.
Agree on what has been said about No. 3.
#1 creates a good mood, mysterious and forbidding
Love'm #1 is a wall hanger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mystery! first 2 are wowza!

Like 1 the best; #2 is too "shiny" (bright)for my taste, but that's just personal taste, not a criticism; it's a nice picture none the less. I didn't realize the Britannia was still afloat, hadn't heard anything about her in years and just assumed she'd been scrapped.
Really like #1! No.2 needs a bit less contrast, I can't make out a lot of the darker features...
Thanks for the feedback the Royal yacht Britannia is now moored in Edinburgh where you can get tours round it.The shipworkers feet are cut off cos there was a car parked there, but i am planning on retaking it.
