I see friends photographs and some of my professional friends who have a signature added like water mark. Is this something I add or is an option on my camera. I have Canon T3i.
A watermark is something that is added post processing. You can do it with most photo editing software. I'm not aware of any camera that does it automatically. Cameras do store identifying information in the exif, but that is not viewable when printed.

Some cameras have the ability to embed meta data right into the file with copyright info (or at least I assume that most DSLR cameras do). It's not visible, but it should show up when you view the EXIF data.
