This photo has everything I love. Silhouettes, stark contrast between subject and back ground, gorgeous color(s), tack-sharp focus and interesting composition. Looks like an award winner to me! Thanks for sharing.

Very nice photo. I love the look of the water with 30 sec exposure. I would be very proud if I had made this one. What else can you tell us about the making of the photo, time of night/day, ND fliters, etc.?

Thanks for the complement. No ND lens on this one. I'm a strong believer of tripods, low ISO, small aperture, and shutter priority control. This was shot with the sun behind me on November 5th at 6:09 PM. I did play with the white balance for the cooler tones. It is just different angle to shoot light at sunset on the east coast.

10 sec, f/14

Thanks for the information. I would have guessed that the photo was made a bit later in the evening. When I try to do similar shots, I often shoot in in manual with bulb so I can vary the shutter speed. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice work Rudolf, well done.
I like it a lot, the tones, the framing.
