My name is Gary and I live in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. I've been hiding in the shadows for a couple months reading and trying to learn as much as possible. I thought I would just hang around until I decided on what my new camera was going to be and jump ship but UHH can become quite addicting. Thank you for the advice, opinions, etc... It has helped me immensely.

its definitely a bump up for me. I was using the Panasonic fz250 but have been getting into wildlife. sometimes its tough to get close enough w/ that camera for the kind of pictures I want. my very 1st pic w/ the d7100 was of a coopers hawk who took exception of my presence. it came screaming @ me w/ its talons out. im not sure if its an oman but what a way to start!!
