Great Gray Owl - Second time around with attitude.
In my previous post you met this magnificent Great Gray Owl. In this set you'll see that when he poses for a camera he can display a certain attitude. He has total disregard for humans as you can see in the fly by where he was so close that I only managed a portion of the bird, in the frame.
So far it's been quite an experience. I hope you're enjoying it too.
I might not have been too pleased with the IQ in this image but his intense stare was enough for me to include it in this post.

One of the two 'attitude' poses. Is 88mm close enough?

And his official portrait.

The very close fly by at only 150mm.

1 & 4 are my favs. In #1 he looks so aerodynamic, and #4 not so much. What a beautiful animal! Great shots

OMG that is a great bunch of pics. Love the eyes in all of them. Love the last one that shows it's talons.
Marvelous shots and a great nature experience!

They are all wonderful Joe, but my favorite is the first shot. If I were a mouse, I'd start shivering. Great set.
Be Well,

Nice shots. A variety of different images. Very cool.
Be careful. He might make a pet out of you. lol
