For those who like times past.
Georgetown was center of Kings County when most transport was by water. I have no idea re. use of this building now. But you can see an addition at the back of the building.

I think your shots are very under exposed. When shooting snow you need to over expose by at least 2 stops. Check your histogram and adjust the exposure till it gets to the right side.
I was referring to the original posters shots.

so this is a wildflower? does it have blooms? if so what time of year does it bloom and what color? when do these pods show up?
I think it is more of a weed...stays flat on the ground. I have never seen it before, I don't know if it flowers or any color other than the little fern like leaves and the bubble things...did you notice all the bugs on it?

Welcome Eyescene....no they don't have to be taken that day.
There is a challenge calendar to let everyone know what subjects are coming up for the month. It helps to plan in advance. This month is kind of up in the air but I'm sure someone can post it for you. A lot of us post from our archives as well.

Re. Calendar,
May I have the earliest date in March available.
"Winter Lanes". This is a personal project. I've been here more than 5 years, which is kind of long to wake up to the many interesting Winter Lanes. It may be very much a PEI thing.

Friday I noticed a tree down the street that I pass everyday (For many years) I never seen it bloom before. Also have never seen one of these before but I read they are common here in California. Really interesting and different...Erythrina caffra or Coral Tree
