I am standing on my toenails waiting for the postman! Traveled from Ca. to Maryland to babysit 8wk old Boxer pup, Shitszu and two birds while my daughters family goes on destination wedding. They are in the Bahamas, I am going outside every 15min. Potty training an adorable brindle boxer pup. I am going to get my tablet together tomorrow so I can upload pics of this darling little bugger. I also have a bid on a 24-105 L that comes due tomorrow. Will the excitement never end! I have not been to this end of the country since 1967. Hopefully I will get out next couple days to see where I was born.
A 6D! I Couldn't wait either. Have fun, and safe travels.

If you're going outside every 15 min, who's training who?
Have fun with the new toy. Just keep it away from the little bugger, you know you're not the only one who likes new toys.
You will have a fine lens-and-body combo with the 6D and 24-105mm. I use this combo as a walk-around pair when doing landscape, with superb results.
Enjoy.

don't know what part of Maryland your'e in . My sister in law lives in Annapolis. Unlimited number of locations for pictures here. Favorite Restaurant is the Severn Inn, right at the foot of the Naval Academy Bridge.Directly across the Chessapeek from the Naval Academy. Great sunset shots here. Dont miss Les Foillies a great classic French restaurant nearby. Expensive but worth every penny. D.C. is close, a can't miss photo location.I know you are not there for a photo shoot but if you can get away when the newly weds return, for a day or two, go for it.
