I do have a c&c permit and carry every where I go. Smith & Wesson 9mm Shield. If I go to a place that does not permit firearms on their property then it is locked in a steel gun case attached by a steel cable to the seat frame or I go to a competing business that does not have this policy. 8-)

Why of course, either my Kimber CDP Ultra Carry or Kimber Solo, depending on what I'm wearing. I always carry, regardless of where I am or where I'm going. I've been doing it for so long, I hardly think about it any more. Overall though, I enjoy shooting my camera a lot more. And, it's friendlier!

I carry concealed almost all the time. I have a Ruger LCP 380. I have gone thru the training for the CCW permit. I've been carrying for 10 yrs. I made my own holster kind of patterned after the Sneaky Pete holster, but also holds my cell phone and a pencil and pen. I hope I never have to use it in self defense, but if I do, I'm prepaired

I have a CCL in NM and carry it all the time. Mostly a Kahr CW9. Occasionally a Browning Hi-Power 40 Cal. Why have a CCL and don't use it? However, I am a retired USAF Special Agent, a 13 year Deputy Sheriff and a 20 year PI.

In NC you can get a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP)
My Colt saved my bacon from a wild sow when I walked up on her and her piglets in a ravine.

I also carry Ruger LCP 380 which seems to be popular from reading replies. I also have a Seecamp LWS 32, very small and easy to conceal. I use a "sticky holster".

Does anyone carry a concealed weapon with them on photo shoots when they feel uncomfortable in the surroundings. If so, what type of weapon and permit do you have. Thanks for responding.

Yes, a SW.38, short barrel always when in the wild fishing or doing photography. Occasionally in unfamiliar places in general. Never intended to use it an less I feel that I am going to die if I don't.
I have the Conceal Carry Permit issued by my State and honored in a few more States.

I have a Concealed Carry permit(Ga.) and I just purchased the new Ruger 9mm con. carry. Use a small belt holster or a jacket pocket with snap or zipper.

You mean not to states who have thwarted the constitution? I always carry in CA when I drive there. I have a thing about unconstitutional laws, and I will not put my family at risk.

So far, so good. I'm really a peaceful guy, but I do guard and exercise my rights rigorously. I've even been known to be un-PC though--imagine that. I'm a boomer, and I dislike mincing words.
