One of the things I like about your work is that you know where to be and when. After you do that, it is nice that your subjects cooperate. I'm sure we have no idea how many hours you spend that aren't as productive but that's the work part of photography and the great pictures are the paycheck.

Ivan,
I believe that you are mistaken. This is skill and a trained eye. You sir are a outstanding photographer. I too have taken pictures of Eagles both in the lower 48 and there in Alaska. They are hard to capture and the images you have are well beyond most. Can you share statical data, camera lense, ect? Thank you for sharing. BTW when I grow up I want to shoot as well as you do. :D

I find #2 stunning! Great shot. We have one corner of the family room devoted to eagles. None of the photos, even ones we purchased, reach that level.

Ivan, I have always wondered how you get such close up stunning shots of wildlife. Eye to eye with bears and eagles next to you. The logical conclusion is that you are a shape-shifter with a helmet cam living amongst them.
As always your photographs merit highest esteem.
