Always have my camera with me. Even at the places we eat.:) Work has me busy the last few years. But on my breaks I go for walks and take pictures. I also got my first grandson. Guess how many I have of him. He is going to be 2 here soon.:):). I am so bad, I take pictures out the truck window as I drive to work and post them here.:):) Never to many!! And this site is awesome, with awesome folks. I guess that is why I have over 25,000 topic here.:):)

Hi
Ellen here.
I always take my camera with me. It's a staple like my purse and keys. I charge the battery at night. I keep a tripod in my car. I estimate I can take up to 300 photos a week, of course I delete the ones I feel are not good.
I work on the ones I love in the computer at night. It is an artistic enjoyable thing for me.
I am now concentrating on landscapes and portraits of people.
I love photography. How about all of you?

Some weeks I might shoot 5,000, and other weeks it could be just 50. A lot depends on my location and other obligations. Getting new equipment always pushes up the shooting total.

I like the old Kodak comment...why take just one shot when 10 will do???. Depends on what I'm doing, I went on a "bear" shoot over the weekend and shot about 500 in three hours. Normally about 100 a day.

Typically I shoot 100-150 a day. In the winter I tend to shoot a lot less, I do try to shoot a little more macro. Spring, Summer and Fall are when I tend to do the majority of my shooting, what with all the wildlife migrating in and out of the state. Since that state I currently reside in is the winter wasteland of Northern North Dakota, spring summer and fall, comprise what seems like 3 months, it seems to be over so quick. There is just not enough time in the day to take all the exposures that I want.

I don't get out with my camera as much as I would like because of weather constraints. When I *do* get out, I probably take 200 or so, and of course most of them are not great. I have a blast, though!

My biggest frustration is the shots I see when I am working, and can't do anything about! I have a P&S, but even if I take it, I can't use it. I drive a school bus, and there is no way I can just stop and start taking photos while I am driving. I see wildlife, rustic barns, great skies, and there is nothing I can do...

Looking at it from the other side, I suppose I am lucky that I *do* get to see all the stuff that I do, even if I cannot capture the images of it! I do go back to shoot the old barns/sheds and things later, when I can spend some time working on it.

A few hundred every other week, depending on the day job

May I refer you to Jim Brandenburg and Chased by the Light.

He took only one a day for 90 days and the results were WOW!

Not too many right now - but still I do keep a camera within reach at all times - I shot about 30 of humming birds and black caped chickadee from my bed yesterday. LOL

My camera always comes with me, even though I don't get to use it as much as I would like. Take maybe 50 and week when I'm not travelling, and maybe 500 a week when travelling. It also depends on where in the world I am, and the weather.

Some weeks it is 500-1000, some days it is 500. Some weeks it is none. A lot depends on the schedule and how I am feeling.

I have no particular amount, it all depends on what I'm shooting...if I'm doing some motor sport it could be 6-800 in a day and if I pop down the Dam for some BIF stuff, maybe 200 in a half to one hour or so...

On a slow week I take about 100-200. On a busy week I take 500-1,000. Unless there is a real bad one like bad blur I save all of them. In LR I flag the best. One never knows when a photo might be useful.

some days I shoot a couple hundred....mostly birds....but I have a friend that will shoot 5 to 10 thousand over a weekend.....he is a big birder, he goes to High Island Tx, a huge bird flyway, (migrating either north or south) he sits in a blind for hours over a week end. he also has some of the most magnificent
pictures I have ever seen of birds.

I get about 10-12 good shots per year. I have no idea how many I shoot.
Sometimes 500 in one hour, sometimes zero in a week.
I never could count. ;-)

I shoot anywhere from 5 a week - 2000 a day. It all depends on what I am doing. I have been in a slump and starting to look for cityscapes, and oddball pictures with either lowlight or no light.
