pg 20 It is so very disheartening! I think CCloud sounds too expensive so can't go down that road!
Did you try contacting Adobe and telling them about the crash? Surely they can't expect you to buy another expensive cd+number?
Mine came with the computer so I can't do anything as never did have the license for it in my name!

They won't even discuss it. The only people that can have it now is teachers and students. Since I'm neither, they can't do anything for me except offer discounts.
The worst part is I still have the program on my external drive which I can't access lol

photogrl57 and suejay50, Check out Lightroom5 you can get a free download trial from Adobe. You may like it and it is far less expensive than Photoshop and more intuitive than Elements.

Same thing happened to me ... tech support reset my network and I lost cs6.... come to find out adobe no longer recognizes the license... what a royal pain. So I tried the creative cloud version... I don't recommend it. Looks like I'll be going to elements as well.

pg 22 I recall that I did, a few years ago, sign on for a short (5 week) course at a local college which gave me a cheap access to CS3... maybe the way to go if we can't get it any other way?

mmm - thanks Bushido... might just do that... though suspect elements is still more economical which to a pensioner like me is important!
