This is starting to pique my interest...what is the aperture range on this lens and where did you purchase yours? Thanks

I've used 'perfect' before. So how does 'ready for a photo almanac' sound?

Sounds good. I thank you very much.

I really enjoy those sharp bird pics of yours Regis, keep on posting them. I can see that I'm gonna have to break down and add another Tamron lens to my gear bag

We had about 5" of snow here today and I didn't want to travel in the snow so I shot a few birds in our back yard and one of a House Finch.

You know Regis, we discussed the price difference between this lens & the $10,000 prime, but I have to tell you. I checked the download and I doubt if any one could see a difference. I see no deterioration at all and ISO 800 wow. Great shot, great lens.

Thank you for your nice comment. I would imagine both Nikon and Canon with their super expensive lenses are a little concerned about this Tamron 150-600mm lens.

I have to tell you, you did a nice job. A few months ago I considered getting the Sigma 200 - 500 lens but opted to get the Kenko 1.4 converter for my old Nikon 300 f4. Lookong at the results you are getting I wish I had waited for this lens. Needless to say I am not getting as sharp photographs with my setup.
