I make a habit of driving the 20 miles up St Vrain Canyon from Lyons to the Peak to Peak highway looking for moose. I was rewarded with these three females feeding along the road. I am not happy with my white balance. There is a bluish tint to the photos although I chose the cloudy selection on my white balance. Any suggestions?

Neat to see and photograph those gals :)

You should be able to adjust the color a little in editing. What program/s do you use? If you want to re-post one of the images with "store original" selected (use a larger file size), I'll give it a go with my rudimentary knowledge.

Here's my attempt at Store Original of the moose image.

I don't have a post processing program yet. I try to get white balance correct when I take the shot. I do shoot raw and jpg together so I can adjust the raw file when I choose an editing program.

And here is one. I have PSE 12. I did the "open in camera raw" option, and first changed the white balance setting to auto. Then fiddled with the whites and blacks, then opened in regular part of Elements to fiddle some more.

These were the options in camera raw, and the sliders I moved.

That was a real quickie, could do a lot better. Used Adobe Lightroom 5, changed white balance with color picker added a bit contrast, lowered the shadows then masked the animals and did some tweaking on them alone. Took about 7 minutes,\.
If image was raw format then could make it almost perfect

The other. This time I only used the "camera raw" settings. Changing white balance to auto made the biggest difference.

This was done with the FREE Picasa program.

Oh neat, Wahawk. I didn't even try Picasa because it couldn't handle a trickier white balance issue yesterday. With your inspiration, I did a new one in Picasa, too:

One-click auto-color, then some highlights (brighten) and fill light. Cropped to 8x10, added "museum matte."
