HV Tower & Moon (Just for fun)

This was done just for fun. It is a composite of a high voltage transmission tower shot in daylight on Kodachrome slide film and converted to a digital file and a moon shot digitally with a Nikon D300 and Nikon 80-400mm lens. The two images were combined and the stars added using PS Elements.

Great shot - how long did it take for the right time to happen. You probably will not get the same opportunity for a while.

This shot was not a matter of "timing" but a matter of "combining" two separate photos. The tower was photographed about 15 or 20 years ago, the moon a little more than a year ago. I was experimenting with combining 2 or more images to make one single photo and this is the result of that experiment.
