It should be a warning to all that just because it says "Private Message" does not mean that it is going to stay private. Be careful with what you say and know who your friends and enemies are. A message sent to or recieved from enemies in no way has to stay private.

Respect your friends, hang your enemies. :wink:

When a PM is sent without a prior binding agreement of confidentiality it is but a unilateral expectation by the sender, naively, that it is confidential however until it become bilateral by acceptance of confidentiality by the recipient, it becomes the property of the recipient to do with as he/she pleases. One party has no right to bind the other. If you want a guarantee of confidentiality get it beforehand from the recipient.
