FRED ANN, I think you said you like some of these
Birds at Vernon Bridge, PEI
................
I love Goldeneyes. They are the first ducks I look for in the spring and when I do find them!!! Wow!! It becomes a great moment for me. Thank you for posting these beauties!
It's the one place I know where to find them. I contacted some birders to ask if my identification was right and the reply gave me the idea that there are quite a few places where they hang out.

These are shots I took yesterday....some from the Ice Sculptures and some from the trees in Anchorage and surrounding areas..they are sitka spruce but they are narrow and stunted either because they sit in boggy land or because they sit in permafrost.....they day was very cloudy and 19 degrees.

Not new, but touching.
This was shot last fall, the last time that I saw my brother. He has been sent to an assisted nursing home at Notre Dame (he's a priest) and last night we talked and he is under special attention, can no longer walk unassisted as he falls all over.
Living proof here that photography is not only a hobby, or a historical archive but also a reminder of the good times which have now gone by.
Hi Roadrunner, just stumbled across your free Sunday
My Amaryllis is past it's best but I love photographing flowers in this dying state, so today it was my model
My bloom is dead

JACKLPINE--interesting windbreaks..makes a pattern..nice shot
JUDYJUUL---nice! I like the second to the last better..I like sharper shadows...shadows make the color of the apple and grapefruit pop...there's more detail in the sexond to last also...you could add some fill light if you want it to be lighter
