I have picked Ice as my topic even though I am in deep south Texas...and yes we do get some once in a blue moon here!...but it is usually freezing rain! It is going down to the mid to high 30's here tonight with a wind chill factor. They are already advising parents to make sure the kids are dressed properly tomorrow. ...anyway...I just got sidetracked....;-) I have chosen ice to give myself and you a chance to be creative. Please submit anything that even remotely looks like ice and if you don't have any...that is o.k. too! Send something along anyway!
What I did to challenge myself was to drop ice cubes into a fish tank and try to catch the action. I also dropped some other things in and then turned the picture 180 degrees and it looks like they are jumping out and froze in place! The trinkets are out of focus as I have to figure out a way to drop them in the same spot each time and I have yet to get enough light and less noise, but I will keep practicing!
So have fun with this challenge, use your imagination and lets see what you got! Cheers!

What an awesome start! I don't know if I will be able to post anything that cool, but here are a couple that were shot this winter, and some from Saturday. Tomorrow our high is supposed to be 27*!!! So I will probably bundle up and go find some natural ice!
Posted this before, but I like it. Icy Windshield and the Sunrise!
Water Trough on Saturday was froze completely!
Even half way through the day there was ice still on it, but Scout was thirsty after our ride!
From the crazy dusting of snow we got. It was barely a sugar coat on the ground but I took pictures!
i love the first and last one they are beautiful
Here are some of my ice picture taken yesterday i love water so it great to get some frozen water falls :-)
