That is one "busy" house.
It's like looking into a doll house.Hope you take copies to them in the spring when you return. They should be very pleased. Thanks for sharing.
Modeladay, what a treat that must have been for you to get into that house and WITH your camera!!! Great shots. Looking at them was like being swept back to Gone With The Wind, and I even saw Brett and Scarlet hanging on the wall! Awesome!
Aside from All the Photos, You where given permission to take, This is One Very Special Couple who takes Great Pride in what they have, and have accomplised, and to have You as their guest, must have been just as exciting for them, Im sure You put a smile on their faces, time well spent.

Found this old farm house today that a couple turned in to their own little Disney World. I was taking a few photos on the outside and the owner's insisted that we come in. What we found on the inside was unlike anything I have ever seen before, I had very little light to work with but heres what what I could salvage from today and it does not begin to show the fantasy land that exists on the inside. We are invited back when the trees and flowers are blooming, also the outside is amazing as well with a mini village with stores, homes and a church.

I would kill to have an office/study like that. I would put a flat desk, not a roll top, at the center window facing out.
Beautiful. How would you ladies like to dust that place? lol

#6 Could be a very interesting still life. You did an excellent job capturing this home. the lighting is very nicely balanced.
Frankly, there is so much in this home I feel claustrophobic.
So do I much to busy But great shots
Is this, per chance, a bed and breakfast? Can you tell me the location? This is absolutely beautiful and I would love to visit there.

A lovely Victorian Lady. I would love to have been with you to see this home. I agree with you NamWife about a simpler time in our history. I love that sort of stuff and have bought some furniture from the Victorian era. Course the hubby isn't on board with me.:) Thanks for sharing and I too look forward to seeing more photos from the spring.

How do they get it all dusted and cleaned? Not my cup of tea, but it is beautiful.
