Good morning! I'm new to photography and I'm looking for a free photo editing program to download. Any suggestions for me?
check out photoscape. very slick and easy to use and has some videos showing how to use functions.
there is also Gimp, which is similar to PS,but has a steep learning curve.
I am sure others will pop in with their favorites.
You could also start with the basic program that came with your camera. Then when you out grow that look for something else.
Thanks for the tips Photocat! I downloaded Photoscape and I'll try that for now... I bought the camera used and they didn't have the manual so i am out of luck there...
Give it a try , check out the videos, they are very helpful for beginners.
You could go to the manufactors site and download the software, usually you just need the serial number.
Regardless, have fun.
Also try Picasa. that will link you to Picnic and lots of free fun edits with that. also free is Lunapic. Can do fun edits with that one.
Thank you so much for the suggestions! :)

GIMP is a free download and is as good as Photoshop a few versions ago. It has an online tutorial systems.
Thanks for all the suggestions! I will try them all, it can't hurt!
Try FASTSTONE VIEWER
It is free and real easy to use ( Right click or left click to check out the menus )
My wife and dayfgter love these two programs and have alot of fun with them. They are very user frendly.

Subscribe to the Kim Kommando show. She will post freebies in every catagorey daily. She has about 4 different catagories to receive daily. Some very good, some so so.

Go to ManualsInk.com, that's where I ordered one for my camera, but they are 11x8 1/2. I think I paid about $14.00
