Happy Holidays Everyone,
My hubby has been so good to me through all of my rehab (from my first shoulder surgery) and then with this next surgery coming up he knows how upset I am about having to put things on the back burner for a bit. He saw me looking on the Canon site and I've been looking at the Canon EF 135 mm f/2L USM (refurbished) for a while and I got my xmas present a little early so I could try it out if only for a short period of time. It was very gloomy and rainy outside when I tried using it, but here are my first photos taken with it. I am dying to really give this baby a work out, but the weather and timing just haven't permitted it, but I think I'm going to really enjoy it. Thanks for letting me share with you.
Debbie
Karma all ready for the holidays.
Caiden wasn't feeling well and had to have a tooth pulled the following day, but he was a good sport.
My sweet girl.

Definitely a keeper of the lens. Hope your surgery goes well. Sorry to hear that your dog needed a tooth pulled. Have fun with your new toy.

Congratulations on the new lens. It looks like it is going to be lots of fun. I was thinking about selling my 50mm f1.4 and then adding a bit of cash to get the 85mm f/1.8 instead. Just might have to give that a go. I like the photos of your dogs. Looks like that lens will produce very pleasing oof backgrounds.
Best wishes for a full recovery. Lovely pictures and I'm sure this will be a memorable Christmas, but, as good as it may be, don't give away all the credit to the lens. The results clearly land on your shoulders.
