These are my entry choices.
Draw bridge at China Basin
Color block bldg.
Rim Fire Day One.
I like the composition of the draw bridge; but I don't like the red coloring. The second shot is also very interesting. I don't think the third shot is as good as the first two. I'm not sure which one of the first two I would chose to enter. They are both very good.
Myself, I like the building. Seems to be the sharpest and it's the most interesting overall to me.

Is this an open theme competition? How many entries are you allowed? None of them are strong candidates. Of these 3, don't even consider the 3rd. Try the following with the first image: Convert to B & W, contrasty and tone with a dark bluish tint. I attach a photo to show what I mean.

Competition consists of the best entries from the year. Here is an entry you did not see. The red bridge made the cut too.

Sorry Sus, I still don't understand. How many of your 'made the cut' entries are available to be considered? The above 3 images plus the newly uploaded one or are there more? How many entries are you allowed to enter? Are you asking help to select a certain number of entries or you can submit all of them?
I take it then that you can't alter any of the images for this competition.
I like the tonality of this new panoramic image and it is composed well. However, as it is quite wide, the details are not easily discernible when looked at on an average screen.
Personally, I don't enter wide pano shots for a competition (unless it is a pano-specific competition) for the above mentioned reason as well as a big loss in quality when a stitched pano has to be reduced to the frequently low file size that is asked for.
Good luck in your competition.

Thank you. I'm entering four photos all previous winners in monthly competitions in beginner digital class shown on a big screen. They are all single shots. I've done loud tricky and trendy. Now I'm going for photos that evoke a feeling. That is my new direction. Next years photos will be different. The boat s the first step. Yes I know the formula to win is not necessarily the formula I'm looking for.

Pleased to know you have a theme/purpose to your shooting. Have fun.
