Love them all. You're getting really good with all of the post processing treatments. Of course it helps to start with good images, and you've done that.
WOW!! How in the world do you get shots like that?? I just bought my first dslr (Nikon 3200) and I got completely frustrated a couple of nights ago trying to get a good shot of the moon rising. Any tips on the settings?
I love them all Linda. You do wonders with the moon. I trust your temperature out there is a lot more amicable to nightly picture taking that out here!. Brrrr! I'm studying your moon shots as those are different from the usual night closeups and I like them!
Thank you all for your very kind words and enthusiastic comments! I love taking moon shots when the landscape is till visible or when there are illuminated clouds.
Regarding taking evening moon shots, the best way for me is to get the moon just as it's rising during the two days near full moon when the timing of moon rise and sunset are close together.
The below website will help you with that, though there are phone apps and other sources.
The important thing is to not over-expose the moon, something I didn't understand 'til I joined UHH! The darker it is outside, the more contrast you have between a very bright moon and your dark landscape.
