These were shot this morning at the Wodakahatchie Preserve ( spelling) just south of Boynton Beach, Fl. Used a Canon 6D and 7D, and a 400m 5.6 fixed and a 70-200 zoom. Various settiings. Because the subjects were back lit, used about 3 stops of negative exposure compensation and added fill flash in manual anywhere from 1/32 power to 1/8 power with a Better Beamer.
Processed in cs-6 and used Topaz Adjust as well as a fair amount of cloning. Went for the artsy look as opposed to the more realistic ( natural ) look. Hope you enjoy.
Those are fun photos! The EF 400mm f/5.6L strikes again! The birds must have been distracted enough to let you stay close.
Those are beautiful and impressive shots.
Very nice!! Like them a lot!!
  Outstanding job!
Stunning shots Stevieboy, not seen you for a while.More please.
Hi Angler. Thanks to all for your comments. Glad you liked. Am attaching another of a GBH in flight. Shot with the 6d and a 70-200 at a shutter speed of 1/1000 and I believe the ISO was either 1000 or 2000.
Bill. Thanks for looking as well as taking the time to comment. Steve
