I noticed this Young Hawk in the tree above our bird feeders this past Thursday and managed to take a few photos before it took off. That night we discovered what we though was the same Hawk in an injured stunned condition on our back deck We were able to cage it with no problem and took it to a wildlife rescue the following day. I checked with them today and learned that they looked at it and found that it was only stunned. The vet it turned out lives near us and she brought it home yesterday and released it. My wife reported seeing a similar hawk in the tree today. Maybe the same one.

Thank you for taking care of one of my buddies.
It's greatly appreciated.
The pics are good too.
Great job. You're a good man.
You're my kind of man, Charles. Good for you.

Great job Charles...I do the same thing here all the time, picking up injured birds and either caring for them at home or taking them to a wonderful lady close by who is also a wildlife carer...the cheeky buggers around here call me the "Birdman Of Surrey Downs"..

Nice shots of the injured Hawk and thanks for taking care of him or her. Good man.
Charles, that's wonderful that you care so much about birds! Thank you for that!
You are a good man Sir. I am a huge animal/bird lover and I hate to see them in pain or discomfort. I am so glad there was a happy ending to the story. Well done.
