Thank you for your nice comment. I think it is the tree that makes the shot work, almost over-powering the bird.

I would like to see more of the bird. The tree does make the bird harder to see, but the overall picture has great interest.

Thank you. I agree with you that the tree seems to overpower the Osprey, but there is not to much I can do except tone down the tree which is not natural.

Nice one. Do you shoot on a tripod? Nice lens. I have the Sigma 150-500 which I like. I think the big difference is that the 50-500 has no IS. Hence the tripod questions.

Thank you. The Sigma 50-500mm does have OS (optical stabilizer) with a 2-way switch. That is why I don't use a tripod. Both lenses, Sigma 50-500mm and 150-500mm have 'OS' systems. 'IS' is an outdated term that is not used with Sigma lenses anymore.
