Bald Eagle from 200-300 feet away.

Usually I like to get close to a Bald Eagle but this photo has a Christmas aura to it with the surrounding green pine tree branches and pine combs near by. I could be wrong about this. Just a feeling.

Yes, a very beautiful setting, worth of the Christmas season. And I'm one who definitely doesn't feel extreme close-up is required in bird photography :)

Thank you very much for your kind comment. I will try to take more of those shots in the future. I couldn't get any closer to the Eagle because of thick pine trees and brush.

Thank you very much. This is a little different for me to take a distant shot. This time it turned out fairly well with the addition of the green trees and pine combs nearby.

Thank you very much. I couldn't get very close to the Eagle with all the surrounding trees and bushes so I took a chance and got a good, but not great, shot.
