Sorry but I can't help myself, try a box of matches

Try wacking the ISO up which may give you a grainy shot, put in Photoshop, or similiar, and turn it into an abstract

Learn how to use manual, and take a long exposure. Experiment. The only way you will learn.

Don't know where u are. Can u get close enough
with your car to turn the headlighs on it high beam?
Or place a Coleman Lantern at the foot of the tree.
Enlist six friends with strong flashlights.

Or fourse you can also strategically place
wireless pole lights at the trees base... Or behind
the trunk and key limbs. Then you can remotely
Illone them simultaneously.

Don't know what Camera but tipod, ISO 100, Aperture priority(unless you are a manual buff), say F7-f11 ish, built in timer or remote and trust the camera. You shot at 1/60..way to fast and probably hand held? For shots like this Raw is best but only if you have a post process tool.

Anywho I dropped it into light room and played just a little. Just so much one do with jpg. I took a shot in the dark as to what the original scene looked like. I'm simply having fun.

It looks fantastic
:-P Thanks. I'm beginning to think full manual is a Meth.

Let me ask something. from anyone.

If I have my camera on full manual why dont the metering system "grey out"
If the camera is still metering it is not! under my control.

This is very important to me because the two shots are taken one right after the other and there coming out with different exposures from shot to shot. :x
The human brain can compensate for this during 3 D viewing however it looks like dog poo in 2 D

How about some light painting with a flashlight? Long exposure and light painting.

:-P I'm going to need the handy dandy homemade double tripod mount if I'm doing a long exposure 3 D photo with flashing or moving lights.
Thanks, a reason to hate photography :x

By "full manual" you are setting ISO, aperture and shutter and possibly white balance, right? What do you mean by metering "grey out?"
