Sen. Lindsey Graham said Monday that despite the Obama administration's interim deal with Iran the Senate would pass a bipartisan measure forcing sanctions against the rogue nation until its nuclear capability has been completely dismantled.
According to The Washington Free Beacon, the South Carolina Republican said on CNN's "New Day" that sanctions will come out of Congress in the next couple of weeks to ensure Iran dismantles its reactor rather than suspends construction as the deal requires.
"You stop enrichment, not just pause it," Graham said.
"Right now, the interim deal leaves their capability totally intact. The new round of sanctions will be focusing on the end game, and it is coming soon," Graham said.
Graham is the latest in a growing line of Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill who oppose the deal with Iran, which requires the country to curtail its nuclear program in exchange for billions of dollars in aid that would flow without sanctions.
The Obama administration has warned Congress not to move ahead with sanctions, but Graham's statement is the strongest yet that lawmakers are not willing to let the White House deal stand.
"This deal doesn't represent the fact that we are dealing with some of the most thuggish people in the world," Graham said.
A lot of Senate Dems are up for re-election next year; many are a lot more worried about "their butts" than they are about Oblameo's "Oblameocare" law.
This RINO is just covering his butt after kissing the presidents on the health care issue. Replace him.

If Lindsey Graham is a "RINO", what does that make you...a jack-ass?
A lot of people, (on BOTH sides of the isle, I might add ), are saying the exact same thing; but 64418 calls him a name, (and shows HIS "butt" ) I'll bet Sen. Graham will lose a lot of sleep because you think that.
FitsNews reported:
Greenville County (S.C.) Republicans have introduced a resolution condemning liberal U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham for acting in a manner fundamentally inconsistent with the principles of the South Carolina Republican Party.
The resolution introduced to a cheering crowd earlier this week at a GOP executive committee meeting blasts Graham on a number of fronts, including his votes to confirm liberal, pro-Obamacare Supreme Court justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, his support of amnesty for illegal aliens and his backing of U.S. President Barack Obamas cap and trade energy tax hike.
In fact the document lists nearly thirty examples of Grahams treachery, concluding he should be replaced as Senator for the State of South Carolina at the earliest possible electoral opportunity.
Either you're in love with Rino's and can't smell them anymore which would be entirely possible given the new Senator from Indiana or you just haven't been following Senator Graham. I appreciate his defense of a strong military and his position on abortion but his support of liberal judges, and compromising immigration reform not to mention all the rest simply does not pass mustard with me. That you might know as well I do agree with his position on this stupid agreement with Iran. Linsey however is in the same camp as McConnell, and McCain.
As far as you're jack-ass comment goes I'll just consider you confused.
Believe me - we in S C are working OVERTIME to replace him!! I'm ready to put up a sign - "ABL" ANYBODY BUT LINDSEY!
