Anyone have one of these printers and how do you like it? Thanks in advance.

I have one.
It's really stupid.
Takes 3 passes through the printer, and you have to use paper with tabs on it that have to be torn off after printing.
I much prefer my Epson Pocketmate.
When you say "it takes 3 passes through the machine..." what do you mean?
I use the CP800. Fantastic machine. Portable with available battery add-on. Prints on special Canon papers using Canon film. This is not an ink jet printer. Each pass through the printer (which does not take long at all) lays down one of the three Primary colors. The fourth pass adds a protective coat.
Prints are excellent, 4x6. It also accepts most memory cards and Canon cameras can print directly to it.
I have a Selphy 900. Unlike inkjet or laser printers, this uses a process called Dye-sublimation. Years ago I purchased a Sony Dye Sub printer that printed the 4x6 cards same as the Canon. Great little printer with super quality pics. When I switched to a Mac the Sony was not compatible. Searched for another printer the same type and could find nothing but the Selphy( other than a $1000 plus).
The multi pass is due to the separate colors applied. Quality of the Selphy is not as good as the Sony but adequate. I live with it. For the price it is a decent little printer. Hope this helps.
Photos from Selphy are very durable. We have had some on display in a group of pics for quite a while. They show no sign of fading.
If you flip the picture over it is pre printed as a post card for mailing.
I think you will like it. I buy refills on Amazon and it averages to approx $.13 per print.
I am planning on tethering it to my Canon 7D. I am shooting Santa Pics with the kids and offering them right there on the spot.
