You have wonderful sense for creating beautiful photography...that is a gift and can not be taught, so your on your way to spectacular photography with just a little fine tuning!
If you allow me, I will share with you what I would do if they were my images...its simple....CROP, CROP...CROP.
All three...the first img. crop behind the girls equivalent to 4 - 5 ft with the bottom of the photo running straight across the dirt trail.....crop to the right, in other words bring the left margin to the beautiful trees, remember the girls do not have to be dead centered in the photo.
Second photo I would crop tighter on the top and sides and either crop out or clone out what appears to be the bottom of a shoe in front of her elbow, it is distracting...either pull back and include the ground they are sitting on including shoe or crop out or clone what you show in the image.
Third is a young gorgeous couple....let me see how attractive they are...crop the heck out of it! They are young and have no wrinkles!!! ;) They can handle a close crop!
Other than cropping, I would leave the rest alone...I hope your ok with my suggestions....these are truly lovely photographs...Congrats!
Regards, PS ; on the first photo the lower line is good...bring the left margin to the left edge of the trail where the small branch with bright green leaves are...I would crop just to the right of the green leaves.

Thanks for the advise did what you said what a difference in the picture.
#1 is nicely composed-#2 the children are precious- #3 matching colors are good, but give earth tones a try
the tree between the heads of the couple draws the eye common mistake and you may want to cut your depth of field. They look like a very happy couple, bet they will be glad to model for free. Ron
Nice set....the first is a real winner...
Thank You! I appreciate your time responding. Have a great holiday. Ron
Great photos! LOVE #1 just as it is, #2 is also very nice but if I was taking the pic I would have tried to turn just a little bit left or right to get the girls out of direct center and still keep the gorgeous background.

The engagement photo should have been a vertical, showing more of their bodies, with NO TREE behind their heads. You'll learn to look at both your subject and background when composing your portraits, but it takes practice.
There are some great books out there. I had a number of them and they were a great help. Seminars were very enjoyable and some were a distance away and with your little certificate you get you also can use the time away as a weekend holiday. That was some 40 years ago and the knowledge lead to making a great living from photography. You seem to have what I call the "eye". You will develop it as you keep practicing. As I said before-you have the models. Have fun and it will come. Ron
