Thanks Dooragdragon for your comments. Yes, I probably should have been more aware of that wire fence OR I could easely have done it in post. I want to attach the original file because I don't know about the vague images you saw behind the bird. The background is just trees and shrubs.
Thanks again
Ed

Crooked horizions, wires , etc are a sore spot with many here, on many occassion's I find this to be nit picking to a otherwise good shot, maybe it was the angle from which the shot was taken, or 1 of many things, it happens get over it and don't make a big issue out of a other wise good photo, in my opinion if all you can think of to say is the horizion is crooked just don't say anything at all.
The vast majority of us all are hobbyist photographers and are not seeking utter perfection from our photos, but a quality photo which we all can be proud of.

No problem, if one is entering a photo in a competition a crooked horizion would be a issue or submitting it for publication but for casual viewing it's only nitpicking .
My opinion is that many here are far to critical of members who are of various levels of skill with their equipment and trying to learn and improve slowly and gradualy and many may get discoureged and leave or quit posting altogether.

I for one cannot see what the problem is...?
A horizon way out of whack is one thing but the wire in this excellent shot is just a product of the angle of view...

It if wasn't for the wire the bird would be sitting in thin air .

I was the one that actually asked for the critique so I take what you said and learn from it because this could effect many other types of photos I may take and I should and will be more careful going forward

Send in the uncroped image. I do not like the postition of the bird in the picture. The position of the target image is everything. Are you familiar with the Rule of Thirds?

OK, then I would crop it to try to make the picture follow the Rule of thirds. I would loose a good portion of the background above the subject.
