This what I do when waiting for my wife as she visits her relatives.
you don't go in and visit the relative?
gee.
I love it. I do the same thing while waitlng for my wife when she is at the fabric stores. She is a quilter so it is usually a long wait.
I did that once while waiting for my girlfriend, and realized that some guys were attempting to steal a car not far from where I was parked. This was pre- cell phone days, but I had my Canon AE-1. I shot the entire fiasco, handed the film to the cops, and they caught the guys!! So, waiting in the car may be more interesting than you think.
I have a similar shot of myself, but we're on the beach, my husband was driving, lol. ;)
awesome story there coondog!
Awesome pic. there. Is that your new lens?
Hi Dria: Love visiting with my wife, but right I am doing the kemo thing, been advised to keep out of contact with the public as much as possible, so I just sit around in the car playing like one of those FBI guys, shooting people, things, trying to amuse myself, only got 7 more sessions.
yes Stargazer that is my new 50mm lens, I am amazed with it. I took that picture it was late after noon, overcast, nearly dark, no flash.
Wow! That's a great story Coondog! I am going to try sitting in my car and watch things going on. I bet several of us could get some good shots that way.
Noticed your hat. Presume you are a vetran. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SERVING MY COUNTRY. I really appreciate it.
I have to stay 3' away from people also for 52 days. That sucks.
Patriot, why do you have to stay away from people. My husband is also on chemo and has not been told to stay away.
done the Korea thing nearly 58 years ago, never regretted it, I was very young & scared at the time.
I think it is all where one goes for the chemo, our local center thinks it best. Learned very early on, do what they tell you.
I'm not on chemo. I was injected with 33 seeds made from radioactive paladium in my prostate. Dr. said to not be close to anyone for very much time for 3 half lives of the paladium. It has a half life of 17 1/3 days. So, for 52 days I sleep in the guest room and my wife rides in the back seat when I drive. I got extremely lucky, it was caught very early.
Guess I will live long enough to learn all about my d5100. I pray that thr rest of you do to.
Nice Hat! You a boyscout?
