I posted on Sunday but it apparently didn't post. Here are a few of my pics from my Canon SX30IS. Most of my photo's so far have
been taken through the living room window and most on auto.
Carolina Wren
My late mother's favorite flower.
Cooper's Hawk on back of my truck.
Welcome to the group. Couple of good looking bird shots there.

Thanks rocco, I used to shoot a little with a used K1000, and had I known my lenses for it would be compatible with the Pentax K-r, I would have saved a little more and went with the K-r.
Very nice shots and welcome to the group.
Don't like dates/numbers on photographs personally.

Thanks, I've just about quit doing that, us old people have a hard time remembering.
Welcome to a PENTAX man. The pix are good but loose the date. Write it on the back of a print or use the date in the title of your file. I am using my "old" Pentax lens on my K10. work great.
Welcome to UHH. See you are in my neck of the woods.
I end up taking quite a few of my bird photos through the patio door glass. Definitely helps to keep both sides of the glass clean.

Thanks One Jughead, yes its difficult keeping those windows clean, can't wait for spring.
I guess I made a big mistake leaving the date and time on, is there anyway to remove it without cropping?

Welcome to the HOG. I can help you take the date code off if you like. Some photo viewing software will show you the date, time, and camera settings for ever so you don't need the distraction on the picture. Nice work.

Thanks everyone, yes Meives, but I have a lot more that I need to remove the date and time from, is there a program. I have Photo Explosion maybe I can do it with that.

I use PhotoShop Elements 9. 10 is out now. Not too expensive and it has all you need. Simple clone process.

I actually live in Riverside, less than a mile from the museum, close to Spinning and Burkhardt.
