Waiting for the little brown truck again for my L lens. No I'm broke after my 6D and this. It's only money, right?

I have both the F4 and F2.8 versions and at F5.6 out there is no apparent difference in resolution, its a great lens for the price!

Money is just one of the things we use to make us happy. Keeping it in the bank is a waste of money. :D

Congratulations on selecting two of the best Canon products available.

The EF 70-200 f/4L IS USM Lens in fact contains some of the finest optics in a Canon lens. It takes sharp images.

The Canon 6D performs remarkably well. It controls noise better than any other camera I own, and I keep my EF 24-105mm f/4L IS Lens always paired with it. I do nearly all my landscape photography with these two.

In the case of L lenses, it could be viewed as an "investment". It is an point of view I try to promote to the wife, in most cases, unsuccessfully. lol
Truth is, L lens depreciate very little. I have the non-IS version purchased used at a very good price. Otherwise the IS would be in the bag. Have fun.

I'm waiting for the white truck (FedEx). I have an EOS 7D and a Sigma 17-50 F2.8 DC EX HSM OS on the way. It's due to arrive tomorrow. Like yourself, I am now broke!

I'll be anxious to hear your thoughts on the 70-200. I am considering that for my next lens purchase.

I own the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 OS lens, and use it to shoot events like parties and family gatherings, with good results. I use flash lighting gear with it. Typically, if inside, I bounce the flash lighting.

I did the two flower arrangements using bounced flash lighting.

The 70-200 f4 is a great lens. I had it but went to the 2.8 as I shoot my grandkids sports but the sharpness of the 2 lenses is comparable. Have fun as it is a really good lens.
