I can respect the service of anyone, but I don't necessarily have to respect the person doing it.
Foolish or not, you might want to check out his association with Fonda and her crowd. Check out his activities here in the US after leaving Vietnam, some while still in uniform. Check out WHY he was called "Swiftboat John", and his book "The New Soldier". Mostly, check out his participation in the Senate Select Subcommittee on POWs and MIAs.
