My Granddaughter on her first out door rock climb, She had a great time.
Great series with one spunky adventurous young-un. My Mom was first to teach EMT training at a local tech college years ago. We used to have a saying..."Our Mom's not over-the-hill...she's on rappel!!"
From the angle of the shots, it looks like you were climbing parallel to her. Was that the case?
I LOVE the sheer determination on her face.
Someday, if we can ever figure out how to store digital images better, she will look back on these and remember what it was like to have young muscles.

Nice series of mountain climbing photos of a very brave young girl. She is braver than me.
How cool is that...her apprehension turned into joy and confidence by the time she reached the top. ;-) Great experience.

Oh...my...hold your breath ...don't know if I could have watched this...brave little girl!!
How brave and strong! I'm sure the first of many, how wonderful that you captured her first climb.....and so nicely too!
Nice set, I like the expressions on her face. It's great to see children doing something other than sitting with their nose buried in a video game. Said as my nose is buried in a computer screen lol Congratulations to her for her successful climb.
She has more cajones than I do, that's for sure! Great shots and such a trooper! Cheers.
