Squirrel, Hawk, and Sunset

The squirrel was trying to get away from some birds that were trying to get his food.
Saw this hawk on the way home. I was only a block from home, so I grab my camera and headed back. Was afraid that he'd be gone, but he was still sitting there waiting for me. I got within 3 feet before he spooked and took off for higher ground.

Thank you. He was the only squirrel amongst a lot of birds, all vrying for a handout. His high perch was the only place the birds couldn't get to.

GREAT pics! LOVE that sky! A previous entry mentioned use of a picture for a business card and I often think of business card or postcard layout when I see such AWESOME pics of sunsets, sunrises and other cloud type pictures!! You could have a real winner here.
