Stunning photos of a stunning bird. Thank you. Do they stick around all winter? We're thinking of visiting somewhere in the southeast coast this February.
The color almost hurts my eyes.. Nice Captures, Excellent series. Good to see you again. Can't wait to capture a few myself.

Beautiful shots Swamp Gator. Gorgeous color. What shutter speed did you use for these shots and the camera?

Glad to hear you enjoyed these spoonie photos!
They will likely leave our area any day now. In fact we have some particularly cold weather coming in by Tue. and I expect them to be gone after that hits.
We were lucky though this season, we had some arrive in June and they stayed this long. Last year they left by first week in Sept.
You will need to go to S. Florida to see winter spoonbills.

You gotta love a pink bird right?! :-)
Thanks for checking these out and glad you liked them.

Thank, I'm happy you liked these spoonbill shots.
Shutter was 1000 with a Canon 7D. I normally shoot a bit faster on the shutter for flights like these but light was dim when I took them.

Beauty's blessing is it doesn't have to stay. Thanks again those were truly memorable shots.

They are a part of nature's wonder that I enjoy seeing every opportunity I get, and I was quite fortunate to be able to photograph them this summer.
Please feel free to check out the many photo blog entries I posted featuring spoonbills going back to June.
