Just being lazy.:) I did this shot hand held. Didn't even think I would be able to see it. Was cloudy all day. Tomorrow I will drag out the tripod. It is going to be 99.9% These are just my practice shots.:):)

WOW, that's a great shot. You didn't mention a tripod, I got a good shot of the moon one night, I had the walker out for a stroll and sat down and propped my elbows on the handles and got a decent shot, but hand held, a silvery mess

No tripod. Most of the time I am to lazy to get it out.:):) I might have lend against the truck on this one those.:):)

That's a great shot Erv. I love moons. I'll have to try your criteria. I'm still looking for that 'perfect shot'. What does the Ev-4 mean after the F11?

High Margo. The -EV4 means I was being lazy.:):) It is a fast way to get the exposer up or down without changing all your settings in the dark. On the D300s, it is the wheel on the back of the camera.
I am hooked on taking shots of it too.:) You don't want to know how many I have in the file.:)
