Thanks to Obomacare - my secondary insurance which came with my retirement plan after 30 yr and wearing out both knees working on concrete floors and heavy lifting - notice all the signs about lifting properly say "Save your Back - Lift with you knees"- yes - my back is fine but both knees replaced at 55.
Any how at 76 my secondary now costs me $150 a month plus never before co-pays. and did I get a raise in my S.S. - "NO"
I guess were will just eat less and use less heat this winter.

The ACA only affects those under 65. It has nothing to do with Medicare and Medicare supplement recipients.
We did get a small increase in Social Security. I got a $45 month bump. My Medicare supplement increased by $5 and no change in co pays or deductibles.

Soooooooo the results are the covered pay more and the non covered get to buy Obomacare - either way it costs "US" more of what is already spread very thin.

I guess I don't understand because Medicare supplements are for those that are retired and should not be affected by plans that are designed for those under 65.
I'm very curious.

Sorry if you find my command of the English language sub par. Since my parents were poor and unable to send me to private school, I was subjected to the liberal public education system. Thanks. As a matter of record I was plugging for and would have voted for Herman Cain. I would also vote for Thomas Sowell and the neurosurgeon who recently retired from Harvard. I guess I could be labelled racist by some for that. If the cartoon I posted had been a white guy I guess nothing would have been said. But, truth be told, there are more takers among the minorities.
