ACK! This is why I won't release the disc of my images to my weddings...I don't have control over where people print them. These places don't clean their equipment often enough to produce a high quality image in any size!

I have printed the same image from various outlets and show the couples. That way they understand why I insist they get all images printed professionally.

I HIGHLY recommend The Photo Place http://photoplaceonline.com/. I only use them and ALL my couples use them no matter where they live in the US. The prints in any size are extremely competitive and they will ship anywhere.

Does anyone know where the best place would be to have photos printed? Good quality prints. I use CVS, snapfish and kodak gallery for prints up to 8 x 10. Any suggestions for 8 x 10 or larger? Either online or in store. Who do you use/How do you print your photos? Thank you!

I used MPIX to get a large metallic paper enlargement of a hot air balloon festival. They did a fine job and that professionally framed print not sits above my headboard.

I love metallic prints. Amazing

I print my own: Canon 9000 Mark II and Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl paper. Cheaper than outside sources and faster, too. I print 4X6 (snaps of the grandkids), 5X7 (for proofs) and 81/2X11 for framing and competitions. The printer will do up to 13X19 or larger.

Sounds like Mpix is the way to go! I have a canon picks printer but it seems to run out of ink pretty fast.

Good Afternoom,

for my constructon company I have used Wal-Mart and Staples to make poster size, they were great, good price,
or you would have to go to a professional photo developing busines in your area, The Staples I went to made some posters of some of my world jobs and the background was spectacular, now semi retired and playing with photography as new career- hobby-play, good way to meet a good dance partner, Have a wonderful day For now,

DO IT YOUR SELF. I can print 8x10s for 10 cent, 13x19's for $1.50. I don't think theres any place that can do that. I print about 1000 prints a month I can't put out the money for lab work. I've paid no more than $300. for a printer, and tryed most of them. Your thinking the INK well I use a ciss system. Well this will give me something to do today. I'll write something up, and post it here to save you big money.

I to have use mpix and like them but with shipping can be a little expensive. As silly as this may sound, almost any of the department stores can do a really good job if the person behind the machine is photo savy. I have 4 Walmarts around me and I talk to the person behind the counter. If they are into photography they will check each print for quality where if they are there for a job they just push a button. If I want a large print a certain way, I will print a small version at home and bring it with me to match

If you were making a comment about my input, it has nothing to do with intelligence. But interest in photography vs just there to collect a paycheck
